Description: Organizational development is a conceptual organization-wide effort to increase an organization’s effectiveness and viability. Commonly, schools are not seen as organizations, but schools are living organizations that must continue to develop to compete and remain relevant. To overlook a school’s/district’s organizational wellbeing is counterproductive to both student achievement and school improvement. Employing behavioral and organizational science as a foundation, this workshop will aid leaders interested in the health of their organization to advance organizational performance and the capacity of the organization to improve itself.
