- Contemplate resources needed to gradually release students to independence;
- Imbed literacy practices into all content areas;
- Determine what literacy, science, math, and social studies concepts that are embedded in each State Standard;
- Identify the key knowledge and reminders that are embedded in the interpretation section of our resource guides;
- Target the objective(s) that must be taught, the order in which they are taught, and why;
- Focus on specific academic language that must be taught before teachers model for students, and how that academic language must be taught and assessed; and
- Leverage our graphic organizers to support students’ conceptual understanding.
